The organisation works collaboratively to create positive learning environments and deliver excellent operational support to staff, students, and the wider community.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Level 3 Apprentice to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and customer support to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced IT professionals, providing first-line technical support to staff and users across the organisation while developing valuable technical and professional skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn from experienced IT colleagues and develop IT knowledge in line with the apprenticeship programme.
- Attend training sessions provided by the apprenticeship provider and complete all required coursework and assessments.
- Provide 1st line IT support to users both in person and remotely.
- Support users and customers contacting the IT helpdesk, ensuring all requests are logged accurately within the helpdesk system.
- Deliver remote support to telephone and computer users.
- Assist in ensuring all IT equipment is fully operational and maintained.
- Set up new computers and devices for users.
- Swap faulty equipment and carry out basic fault-finding and repairs where possible.
- Organise external repairs when required.
- Escalate complex IT issues to senior IT colleagues where appropriate.
- Support the smooth running of all computer equipment within the Deputy Chief Operating Officer’s area.

- Grade 4/C in Maths and Grade 5/C in English GCSE essential
Hours, Salary & Benefits
- £20,875 per annum
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
