An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Apprentice to join Ardent Group 365, a growing and forward-thinking managed IT services provider. The company supports businesses across the UK with a range of services, including IT support, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in IT who is eager to start their career. The successful candidate will be motivated, curious, and keen to learn, with a passion for problem-solving and developing technical skills.

You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team of experienced IT professionals who work collaboratively and provide ongoing guidance to help you grow and succeed.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Deliver first-line IT support to external clients in an MSP environment
• Log, manage, and resolve support tickets
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and user access issues
• Escalate complex cases to senior teams when needed
• Assist with device setup, updates, and general IT maintenance

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• Motivated and eager to learn within an IT support environment
• Reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
• Confident communicator, both over the phone and in person
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced, and phone-heavy setting
• Demonstrates a genuine interest in IT support and technology
• Willingness to develop technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Holds a driving license or is currently learning to drive (preferred but not essential)
• Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & Grade 5 in GCSE English

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £17,000 – £22,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
