Calling all aspiring IT Technicians! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with Wren Kitchens for a dynamic IT Field Engineer Apprentice to join their team.
In this critical role, you will travel to various sites to install and configure IT equipment as part of new location rollouts. Additionally, you will perform preventative maintenance at existing locations and provide on-site support for break-fix schedules as required.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- You will roll out IT infrastructure and services at showrooms on a weekly basis.
- You will respond promptly to provide comprehensive IT support to desktop/laptop systems, mobile devices, printers, network connectivity, and more, ensuring minimal downtime
- You will visit existing locations for routine preventative maintenance
- You will install and configure various types of standard and bespoke IT equipment, which may involve drilling and mounting
- You will troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows and IoT operating systems
- You will ensure that all installations and maintenance tasks meet company standards and compliance requirements
- You will provide effective communication and support to our internal customer base and team members
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary – £25,500
- 37.5 Hours per week

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in Windows operating systems and domain services, including Active Directory (AD), Azure, InTune, and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Experienced in installing and troubleshooting a wide range of IT hardware and software
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as drilling and mounting equipment.
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills and can work independently.
- Excellent in communication and interpersonal interactions.
- Open to extensive travel and flexible working hours.
- UK Driving Licence
- Grade 4/C in Maths & 5/C in English GCSE
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
