They're offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate, hard-working individual to join their team as an IT Support Apprentice. You’ll gain hands-on experience across hardware, software, and networking—while working alongside an experienced team in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- First-line support for PC and laptop issues
- Resetting passwords, configuring multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Assisting with software updates and security patching (often via PowerShell)
- Learning to build and configure PCs from scratch, including installing and setting up operating systems
- Exposure to switches, servers, and networking devices as you progress
- Troubleshooting via tools like Microsoft 365, TeamViewer, Event Viewer, and Task Manager
- Working with our ticketing system (ConnectWise Manage) to log, resolve, or escalate IT issues
- Assisting with firewall and security policy configurations
- Supporting device and network upgrades
- Working across cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and our bespoke cloud solution
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary: £16,500 per year
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, 1-hour lunch)
- Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- A genuine interest in technology and IT
- Keen to learn and grow in a hands-on environment
- A hard-working, dependable attitude
- Previous work experience (not necessarily in IT) is a bonus
- Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Grade 5/C in GCSE English and Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full-time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
