Oxford Economics are looking for their next IT Support Apprentice to join their rapidly growing team! Offering a sensational salary of £23,000 per annum you don’t want to miss out on this outstanding opportunity!

As an Apprentice you will be tasked with providing technical support to internal and external staff, resolving tickets and working alongside senior management, and much more! You will be supported by the IT Operations Manager who has over 20 years of experience in the industry! You will be given all the tools to build a long and illustrious career in IT.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Technician, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

·      Provide first-line technical support via our helpdesk, email, phone, or in person.

·      Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, network and administrative issues.

·      Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to suitable analyst, developer or vendor, when required.

·      Continuously monitor and action support tickets from internal and external customers, manage expectations, and provide a satisfactory resolution

·      Record, track, and document the service desk incident-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made and actions taken, through to final resolution.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £23,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm
  • 23 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Private health care

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • A genuine interest in IT and technology – whether through study, personal projects, or hands-on.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and ask questions when unsure.
  • Comfortable using Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Organised and reliable, with good attention to detail.
  • Grade 4/C in Maths and 5/C English GCSE
