As their IT Apprentice, you'll work alongside a friendly and experienced team who will support you every step of the way. You'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of IT tasks, developing practical skills while learning from industry experts in a collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

They're looking for someone with a genuine enthusiasm for IT, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. If you're eager to learn, enjoy taking on new challenges and want to build a long-term career in technology, you'll fit right in.

Alongside your role, you'll complete a Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship with Baltic Apprenticeships. Over 12–15 months, you'll attend immersive two-day training blocks every 4–6 weeks, giving you dedicated time away from the workplace to build your technical knowledge, develop professional skills and work towards your qualification. With the support of both your employer and your Baltic coach, you'll gain the confidence and experience needed to succeed in the IT industry.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Provide customer support via telephone, email, and remote access.
  • Assist with software implementation, including customer data setup and report configuration.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Learn and apply industry-standard tools and processes.
  • Maintain accurate records while assisting with customer implementations/activities

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow technical processes and work accurately.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and Grade 5 in English

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

  • £17,000 per annum, potential to increase to £20,000 within 6 months
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Constant opportunity to grow through courses

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
