We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team. We’re looking for someone who has a genuine interest in IT, enjoys getting to the bottom of problems, and is keen to learn, develop and take on new challenges. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues who will support you as you build your confidence, knowledge and technical skills.
Alongside your hands-on experience at CONDUCTR, you’ll receive structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships, attending two-day training blocks every 4–6 weeks. This will give you the opportunity to put your learning into practice in the workplace while working towards your apprenticeship qualification.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Provide 1st & 2nd Line IT Support- Resolve user issues across Windows and macOS, responding via email, Teams, Slack, phone and remote support tools.
- Manage Hardware & Software – Deploy and maintain laptops, mobile devices and peripherals, including software installations, updates and security patches.
- Support IT Security – Assist with MFA, user access, endpoint security and maintaining IT security standards.
- Support Networks & Cloud Services – Troubleshoot network, VPN and connectivity issues and support Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and Azure AD.
- Document & Improve IT Processes – Record tickets and solutions in Jira and Confluence, follow IT procedures and use basic PowerShell automation.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- Strong interest in IT and technology.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- A Grade 5 in GCSE English & Grade 4 in GCSE Maths
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £16,000 per annum.
- Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm
- 30 days annual leave including bank holidays.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.

You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship.
