We are now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join our growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about IT and eager to begin a career in technology within a fast-paced national business.
As an IT Support Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience supporting colleagues across the business with a wide range of hardware, software, and technical issues while working towards a recognised IT qualification. You’ll learn from experienced IT professionals, develop valuable technical and customer service skills, and play an important role in helping keep our operations running smoothly.

A Typical Day in the Job:
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, or ticketing system
- Triage and manage Incident and Request support tickets, ensuring timely resolution or escalation
- Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support users with common applications such as Microsoft 365, email, and desktop software
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Perform basic user account management (password resets, access requests, onboarding support)
- Maintain accurate documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles
- Follow IT policies, security standards, and data protection requirements
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
- Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and Grad 5/C in GCSE English
- Strong interest in IT and technology
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Basic understanding of IT concepts (hardware, software, operating systems)
- Ability to troubleshoot simple technical issues logically
