They're looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join their team as an IT Apprentice. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with a passion for technology and a desire to build a career in IT support.
As part of our dedicated IT team, you’ll be the first point of contact for technical issues, helping customers resolve problems efficiently while gaining hands-on experience in a real-world environment.
You’ll receive full training and ongoing support from experienced professionals, alongside structured learning through their partnership with Baltic Apprenticeships. In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information and Communications Technician Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Provide 1st line IT Support to customers who seek IT support
- Logging helpdesk issues and escalating when necessary
- Remote access troubleshooting
- Configuring systems and updating software
- Make sure that the company CRM system is updated
- Answering customer tickets through a ticketing system and speaking over the telephone, responding to inquiries from password resets to backups
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and by the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £15,000 per annum
- Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
- Increased holiday entitlement after 1 year of service (capped at 5 years)

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- A passion for IT and knowledge of hardware and software is beneficial
- Desire to learn more about the IT industry
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confidence to work in a customer-facing role
- Driving license and access to a car
- GCSE Grade 5/C in English and grade 4/C in Maths is required for this role
Your Training with Baltic:
You will be enrolled in a Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT Support, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You’ll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.
