Unity World is seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an IT Support Apprentice. This role offers hands-on experience across IT, Telecoms, Cloud, and Network Infrastructure within a dynamic and forward-thinking company. The successful candidate will develop practical skills, receive expert guidance, and work towards a recognised IT qualification while contributing to real-world projects.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Provide 1st Line IT Support across a range of systems and services.
- Work with a mix of technologies including IT, Telecoms, Cloud services, and Network Infrastructure.
- Support users primarily on Microsoft operating systems, with some exposure to Linux environments.
- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- Gain experience with cloud platforms and modern network infrastructure tools.
- Respond to support tickets and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
- Contribute to ongoing projects and infrastructure improvements under the guidance of senior team members.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £18,000 – £20,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 30 hours per week
- 28 including bank holidays
- Benefits – Wellbeing schedule. You have 1 half day every quarter to do what they like with (essentially 2 extra days holiday)
- Bereavement policy – extends to anyone in their family, friends and pets
- Monthly socials and workshops (often with breakfast or lunch paid for)
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Grade 4 in Maths and 5 in English is essential for this role
- Willing to learn
- Work effectively under pressure
- Communicate effectively
Your Training with Baltic:
This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
