As an IT Level 3 Support Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the Trust’s IT infrastructure across multiple sites. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on technical experience, contribute to a high-quality IT support service, and work towards a nationally recognised qualification.
In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day In The Job:
- Monitor, maintain, and repair a wide range of PCs, printers, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults under guidance.
- Install and configure new IT equipment and follow standard build procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware, repairs, and inventory.
- Provide first-line support to staff and students, escalating issues where necessary.
- Perform user account maintenance tasks, including password resets and access permissions.
- Install and maintain standard network cabling and ensure connections are secure.
- Support backup, virus protection, and security procedures.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary: £24,027 per annum
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year plus bank holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Awareness of IT – Some experience working on IT issues
- Good customer service skills
- Passionate about IT
- Willingness to learn
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proactive in their approach
- Grade 4/C in Maths and Grade 5/C in English
