In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• IT Support – Provide friendly remote IT support, helping colleagues resolve hardware, software, account, connectivity, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• User & Account Support – Set up accounts, devices, and access for new starters, as well as supporting password resets and permissions.
• Troubleshooting – Investigate technical issues, keep users updated, and escalate more complex problems when required.
• Power BI & Reporting – Maintain existing reports, check data, investigate errors, and make routine updates.
• Data Analysis – Develop your skills in preparing, analysing, and presenting data while supporting the creation of new reports and dashboards.
• Documentation – Record recurring issues and create simple guidance for users.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• A genuine interest in IT, technology, and data.
• A logical approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn, ask questions, and develop your skills.
• Basic confidence using Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365.
• Any experience with Excel, Power BI, reporting, or computer setup would be useful but is not essential.
• A full driving licence and access to your own car is required due to the nature of the role.
• A Grade 5/C in GCSE English and a Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £16,000 per annum.
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to launch a rewarding career in IT.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in technical support, troubleshooting, user management, Microsoft 365, data, and Power BI. With our expert training and one-to-one support, you’ll develop the skills and confidence you need to progress in IT.

You’ll be based full time with your employer and become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
