As our IT Support Apprentice, you'll be the first point of contact for colleagues needing technical support. You'll learn from experienced IT professionals while developing the skills needed for a successful career in technology.

A Typical Day in the Job
- Receive, log and resolve 1st line IT incidents and Service Requests.
- Escalate internally and with 3rd party suppliers for 2nd and 3rd line issues.
- Provide hardware and software support in a mixed Windows/Mac
- Efficiently and effectively investigate, diagnose and action all operational alerts escalating where appropriate.
- Provide support for Technology projects.
- Use Incident Management software to ensure incidents are tracked and resolved within SLA’s.
- Follow documented procedures to manage secure access to IT systems for starters, leavers.
- Maintain and create knowledgebase articles.
- Use standard management tools and processes to carry out defined housekeeping processes.
- Ensure that all operational security policies, processes and procedures are adhered too.
Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment and dealing with people over the phone and face to face
- Excellent communication skills with an outgoing and personal nature
- Experience working in an IT support environment beneficial but not essential
- Resilient, proactive and positive attitude and approach
- Ability to identify areas for improvements to efficiency both procedural and technical
- Must be able to work on own initiative and work well within a small team
- Ability to work to deadlines and to take a task from design through to implementation and documentation.
- A keen interest in IT and technology in general
- Grade 5/C in English and 4/C in Maths GCSE
Salary, Hours & Benefits
- Salary – £18,000 – £22,000
- Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5:30 PM
- Hybrid working role- 2/3 days a week in the office.

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
