In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Providing first-line IT support to internal staff and external customers
- Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and software
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of IT systems across the business
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues both remotely and in person
- Responding to technical queries via telephone, email, and support tickets
- Preparing laptops and computers for new starters and managing equipment for leavers
- Verifying the functionality of hardware and software components
- Assisting senior team members in resolving technical issues for external customers
- Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, incidents, service requests, and user accounts
- Updating internal IT documentation, processes, and knowledge base articles
- Supporting IT health and safety initiatives across the business
- Assessing workstations and laptops to ensure compliance with recommended health and safety guidelines
- Ensuring IT equipment, infrastructure, and cabling are installed and maintained safely
- Developing knowledge of business systems, IT infrastructure, and support processes
- Delivering excellent customer service while building positive working relationships across the organisation

- Any previous IT experience through education, personal projects, or work experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to different UK office locations when required
- Grade 4/C in Maths and Grade 5/C in English GCSE are required for this programme
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
Baltic Apprenticeships’ IT Support Technician Level 3 programme is designed to equip apprentices with the technical and professional skills required to succeed in a modern IT support environment.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will develop knowledge and experience in:
- IT fundamentals and troubleshooting
- Operating systems and device support
- Networking and infrastructure basics
- Cyber security principles
- Customer service and communication
- Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies
- Ticketing systems and IT service management
- Hardware and software support processes
Your apprenticeship training will combine workplace learning with expert-led sessions from Baltic Apprenticeships to support your development and progression throughout the programme.
