Baltic Apprenticeships are working in partnership with Intergence to find their next IT Apprentice. Intergence are a specialist technology consultancy that helps organisations design, build and optimise their IT infrastructure, offering services across areas such as network management, cloud solutions, systems integration and digital transformation. They work with a wide range of clients to improve performance, security and efficiency across complex IT environments.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and looking to start a career in IT. The successful candidate will join Intergence as part of a structured apprenticeship programme, gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment while developing essential technical skills. They will work alongside experienced engineers and consultants, supporting real-world projects and building a strong foundation for a long-term career in IT.

 

In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

 

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Provide first-line IT support by monitoring incoming tickets, triaging issues, and ensuring accurate and timely responses within SLA targets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using internal tools, knowledge base articles, and security platforms, escalating more complex problems where required.
  •  Support user access and security processes, including password resets, multi-factor authentication, and following cybersecurity best practices.
  • Assist with system maintenance and updates by supporting remote software installations, configurations, and automated updates across the business
  • Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and by the Baltic team. 

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Annual salary of £16,000
  • Working hours: 8:00am–4:00pm, 9:00am–5:00pm, or 10:00am–6:00pm
  • 20 days’ holiday plus bank holiday
  • Fully office-based role

  • Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English 

Your Training with Baltic:

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full-time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
