Join Greenhous, a trusted name in the automotive industry with over 100 years of heritage. Established in 1912, Greenhous has grown into one of the UK’s leading dealer groups, representing major vehicle brands and operating across multiple locations with a strong reputation for quality, customer service and innovation.

Greenhous is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join the business. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills and, most importantly, a willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced working environment. The successful candidate will work alongside a friendly and supportive IT team who will guide them throughout their journey, helping them build confidence and gain hands-on experience across a range of IT systems, support tasks and business technologies.

Alongside day-to-day learning in the workplace, the apprentice will also complete structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships, attending dedicated two-day training blocks every 4–6 weeks. This combination of practical experience and expert-led learning will provide them with the skills, knowledge and qualifications needed to build a successful career in IT.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees experiencing IT issues.
  • Provide support via phone, email, or helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Provide basic IT guidance and instructions to help users avoid common issues.
  • Log, track, and update support tickets in the helpdesk system to maintain clear records of incidents, solutions, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Ensure issues are properly documented and assigned.
  • Escalate more complex problems to 2nd or 3rd line IT support teams.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong computer literacy with a genuine interest in developing a career in IT.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage workload efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident communicator with polite telephone manner.
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • GCSE ICT (or equivalent) qualification would be preferable.
  •  Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & Grade 5 in GCSE English.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £15,600 per annum.
  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Sick pay for up to 10 days (After probation is completed).
  • Free car parking.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
