We are partnering with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, a key organisation in the delivery of this standard.

As part of the AI & Digital Champion apprenticeship, learners will have access to four BCS certification exams, each directly aligned with one of our modules and industry standards in business analysis.

These exams are optional, but by passing them, learners become eligible to progress towards the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis – a highly credible, industry-recognised qualification.

Pursuing the diploma is an additional step outside of the apprenticeship and by passing these certifications, learners would be eligible to sit the BCS diploma exam. To support success, all our courses are mapped to the attached BCS certifications and learners will have access to a BCS library subscription, fully funded by Baltic.

This programme is built with AI at its core; each module is designed to help you apply AI in practical, meaningful ways – driving real change across your organisation.

By the end of the programme, you won’t just understand what AI can do, you’ll know how to use it responsibly and effectively to boost productivity, solve business problems, and lead innovation in the workplace.

Apprenticeship Funding

There is a range of government funding and local authority grant schemes available, which are designed to help you train the next wave of talent or invest in your team’s professional development.

Large organisations with an annual salary bill over £3 million are required to contribute to the Apprenticeship Levy. The Apprenticeship Levy is a dedicated apprenticeship fund, which employers can use to cover the costs of apprenticeship training and assessment.

For SMEs & Microbusinesses that do not pay into the Apprenticeship Levy, the Government will fund 100% of apprenticeship training and assessment costs for apprentices aged 16 – 21 and 95% for apprentices aged 22 and over.

BCS INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ANALYSIS

Thanks to our partnership with BCS, learners have the opportunity to complete four industry-recognised BCS certifications. All exams costs are covered by Baltic and are included in the cost of the apprenticeship programme.

By successfully completing these certifications, learners become eligible to progress towards the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis – a separate qualification that sits outside the apprenticeship that can be pursued independently.

To support their success in passing their exams and working towards the diploma, learners also receive a BCS library subscription, fully funded by Baltic.

Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis

The BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis is an internationally recognised qualification designed to strengthen learners’ understanding of how organisations identify and deliver effective business change.

As part of the AI & Digital Champion apprenticeship, learners are fully prepared to sit this optional, fully funded exam. While participation is not mandatory, it offers the opportunity to gain an additional certification alongside the apprenticeship.

Throughout the programme, learners develop the skills to identify business improvement opportunities, support change initiatives, and contribute to successful transformation projects. Entry Requirements

This Level 4 programme is designed for individuals ready to lead digital transformation and unlock smarter ways of working through technology and AI. It’s ideal for those who want to connect people, processes, and digital tools to create meaningful business impact.

To be eligible, we require candidates to hold a minimum Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths, as these skills are vital for effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking throughout the programme.

This apprenticeship focuses on applying technology in real business contexts, so you should also have a good understanding of your organisation’s digital systems or processes, and an enthusiasm for exploring how AI and automation can improve productivity and efficiency.

Focused on the needs of data professionals, the course explores best practices for slide design, storytelling with data, and leveraging PowerPoint’s advanced features for maximum impact.

This course focuses on using Microsoft Copilot as a standalone tool to boost productivity and collaboration, without the need for a Microsoft 365 license.

This course is designed to help learners advance their Excel skills by focusing on powerful functions and formulas. Participants will explore essential tools such as SUM, AVERAGE, and CONCATENATE, as well as more complex techniques like IF statements for conditional logic, nested formulas for intricate calculations, and VLOOKUP for efficient data retrieval.

This course focuses on automation with Excel Macros, teaching learners how to create time-saving automation scripts and streamline repetitive tasks. Participants will gain hands-on experience in using Macros to automate processes, improve data accuracy through cleansing and validation, and boost overall productivity.

1-2-1 Coaching & Support

Everything we do is built with our learners in mind. To ensure our learners receive the appropriate level of coaching and overall support, each learner has a designated coach that will support them throughout the entirety of their apprenticeship.

Our approach is designed to empower our learners to achieve their full potential, and we take great pride in offering personalised and comprehensive support. We understand that each individual has unique learning needs, goals, and challenges, and we strive to provide tailored support to help our apprentices succeed in their apprenticeship journey.

Working alongside our coaches, we have a dedicated Safeguarding Team. Their main responsibilities are to keep each of our learners safe and protect them from physical abuse, emotional abuse, domestic abuse, cyberbullying, radicalisation, among other safeguarding concerns, and provide physical and mental health support and advice.
