Are you passionate about technology and looking to build a career in IT? Do you want to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, cloud services, AI tools, managed print, and technical support while working towards your future in the industry?

At IOS Ltd, we are looking for an Apprentice Modern Workplace & AI Support Technician to join our growing technical team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone starting out in IT who wants real-world experience across modern support environments, Microsoft cloud platforms, digital workplace technologies, and emerging AI solutions.

You will work alongside experienced technical professionals, supporting both internal teams and external clients, while developing valuable skills in IT support, Microsoft technologies, automation, cybersecurity, and managed services.

A Typical Day in The Job:

  • Providing first-line and second-line IT support to users and customers
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and network issues
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 environments including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Entra ID
  • Assisting with endpoint management and device support
  • Helping clients adopt new tools such as Microsoft Copilot and automation platform
  • Assisting with onboarding, user training, and technical documentation
  • Supporting projects involving digital transformation, cloud services, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Support the deployment and configuration of AI-enabled tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform).
  • Drive user adoption of AI tools through training, guidance, and best practice.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in designing and testing AI-driven workflows and solutions.

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours:

  • A genuine interest in IT support, Microsoft technologies, and emerging digital tools
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts such as devices, networks, cloud services, or Microsoft 365
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge in a fast-moving environment
  • An interest or experience in AI, cybersecurity, or digital transformation
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (helpful due to some client site travel)
  • Grade 4/C in Maths GCSE and 4/C in English GCSE is required for this programme

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

Baltic Apprenticeships’ Level 4 AI Practitioner programme is designed to equip apprentices with the technical knowledge, practical skills and industry experience needed to succeed in modern AI-driven workplaces.

Throughout the programme, you will learn how to:

  • Understand core AI concepts and practical applications
  • Build and improve AI-powered workflows and automations
  • Use prompt engineering techniques effectively
  • Analyse and interpret data to support business outcomes
  • Work with low-code and no-code AI tools
  • Understand AI ethics, governance and responsible usage
  • Support businesses with AI implementation and optimisation
  • Collaborate effectively within technical and non-technical teams

You will receive structured training, one-to-one support and regular coaching from Baltic Apprenticeships throughout your learning journey.
