Dental Dynamix is a rapidly expanding dental imaging and IT support company based in Gillingham. The team specialises in delivering bespoke IT infrastructure and cutting-edge digital imaging solutions to dental practices across the UK. Known for their outstanding customer service and technical expertise, Dental Dynamix is on a mission to help dental practices operate smarter and more efficiently through innovative technology.

They are now looking for a motivated and ambitious IT Apprentice to join their growing team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who loves technology, enjoys solving problems, and is excited by the idea of building a long-term career in the IT industry. Whether you're troubleshooting issues, learning about IT systems, or supporting customers, every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to develop your skills.

You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative team of experienced professionals who are passionate about technology and committed to helping you succeed. From day one, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while learning directly from industry experts who will mentor and guide you throughout your apprenticeship.

Alongside your day-to-day role, you’ll complete your structured training with Baltic Apprenticeships, attending dedicated training blocks every 4–6 weeks. These sessions will help you develop essential technical knowledge, build industry-recognised skills, and give you everything you need to thrive in the world of IT.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Answering initial phone calls from customers and logging cases accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Providing 1st line support to resolve common IT and software issues.
  • Developing into 2nd line support, depending on experience and training.
  • Using the ticketing system to update customers and manage cases through to resolution. 
  • Delivering technical support for both digital imaging solutions and general IT services.
  • Escalating complex cases to the Technical Manager or scheduling a site visit when required.
  • Assisting with data and database migrations for customers.
  • Running diagnostics to identify hardware and software issues.
  • Occasionally attending customer sites with senior members of staff to gain field experience.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider support team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £15,600 per annum, rising to £17,000 per annum within 3 months.
  • 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
  • 28 days including holiday entitlement.
  • Constant training and development opportunities.
  • Previous apprentices are now in senior engineer roles.
  • Certifications to further progress.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
