As an IT Support Apprentice, you’ll be supporting customers both internally and externally with any IT-related issues they may have!
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Microsoft IT Support qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Install hardware onto customer units and trailers
- Attending customers units and trailers to carry out break-fix cases
- Conduct customer and staff training to familiarise themselves with OpenRad products
- Ensure that all relevant administrative, quality and regulatory documents are accurately completed and maintained
- Log and respond to customer support requests received by phone or email
- Use remote system tools to monitor the performance of customer systems
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- The ability to interpret complex instructions and system manuals
- Experience in building and maintaining productive relationships
- Great engagement skills
- A minimum of Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and Grade 5/C in English
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £18,000 per annum.
- Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
- 21 days holiday plus bank holiday – increasing with length of service
- Hybrid working role. – 4 days in the office 1 day from home

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
