As a Data Apprentice, you will support the delivery of high-quality research projects, gaining hands-on experience across the full research lifecycle, from data collection and analysis to reporting and insight generation.

As part of the apprenticeship programme, the successful candidate will receive structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships. This includes two-day training blocks every 4-6 weeks, alongside continuous workplace learning and mentoring, allowing the apprentice to build both technical knowledge and practical experience while developing their career in Data.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data & Business Insight qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Supporting the delivery of qualitative and quantitative research projects
• Assisting with project setup, coordination, and logistics
• Monitoring data collection and ensuring the quality and accuracy of datasets
• Supporting data analysis, including basic statistical interpretation, tabulations, and identifying trends
• Assisting in the creation of client reports and presentations
• Conducting desk research to gather market insights, competitor analysis, and industry trends
• Using AI tools to support data analysis and insight generation
• Contributing to project timelines, team coordination, and continuous improvement

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• An analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Basic knowledge of Excel or data handling tools (desirable)
• Interest in data, research, consumer behaviour, or analytics
• Minimum of A-Levels (or equivalent) subjects such as Business, Psychology, Sociology, Maths, or Data-related fields
• Grade 4/C in both Maths and English (Required)

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• Salary: £16,640 – £18,640 per year
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in Data. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
