At ED-IT Solutions Ltd, they specialise in delivering high-quality IT support to Primary Schools across the North West. As their company continues to grow, they’re excited to offer a packaged apprenticeship opportunity where you’ll complete your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship followed immediately by Level 4 – giving you a structured, accelerated pathway into a skilled IT career.
This isn’t just an apprenticeship. It’s the start of your professional journey.
Working as part of our expanding team of 7 engineers, you’ll provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to your allocated schools. You’ll become the face of ED-IT Solutions within those schools – building relationships, solving problems, and making a real difference to teaching and learning.
You’ll be mentored closely by Adam and supported by an experienced technical team as you develop your skills.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Deliver 1st & 2nd line IT support to Primary Schools across the North West, becoming the trusted on-site face of ED-IT Solutions Ltd
- Install, configure, upgrade and maintain desktops, laptops, iPads, servers (Windows & macOS) and essential classroom technology
- Support school networks including Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, password resets, MFA setup and hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
- Manage cloud platforms, backups (including Veeam), MDM solutions and SharePoint file storage
- Work with deployment tools, troubleshooting systems, PowerShell scripting and security solutions to keep systems running efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service via Freshdesk, Teams, email, phone and face-to-face support – resolving issues quickly and professionally
- Work towards SLAs while ensuring GDPR compliance, accurate documentation and continuous service improvement
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

- A driving licence is required, as you’ll be travelling to schools across the North West (travel support provided).
- Grade 4 in Maths & Grade 5 in English at GCSE is required for this programme
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £21,157 – £24,784 (National Living Wage dependent on age)
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Christmas to New Year shutdown (1 week)

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
