This apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in IT. As part of this programme, you’ll first complete a 2-week IT Skills Bootcamp delivered by Baltic Apprenticeships. Upon successful completion of the bootcamp, you will be offered an interview for a full IT Support Apprenticeship role at T-Tech.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Respond to and resolve first-line IT support requests through a ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Deliver clear, professional customer service and keep users updated.
  • Escalate complex problems to second-line support with full documentation.
  • Log, track, and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions.
  • Contribute to team knowledge by updating documentation and participating in training.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £17,000 – £20,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
  • 40 Hours – Monday – Friday
  • Standard holiday entitlement
  • Training and development

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • A genuine passion for IT and helping others.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable nature.
  • Logical problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stay organised and manage time effectively.
  • A-levels or equivalent education is desirable
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, Windows operating systems, or ticketing systems.
  • GCSE Grade 5/C in English and grade 4/C in Maths is required for this role

Your Training with Baltic:

You will be enrolled in a Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT Support, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You’ll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.
