Bean IT is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience while working toward a recognised qualification in IT support and infrastructure.

 

At Bean IT, we believe in nurturing talent from the ground up. As an apprentice, you’ll be working alongside experienced professionals, supporting a variety of clients and systems, and developing the skills needed for a successful career in IT.

 

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

 

A Typical Day in the Job:

 

  • Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues both remotely and on-site.
  • Troubleshoot system errors and performance issues across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and networked peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.
  • Interpret and apply technical documentation, manuals, and procedures to support troubleshooting and setup tasks.
  • Manage and support networked devices, including printers, VoIP phones, scanners, and shared storage systems.
  • Monitor and respond to service requests in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalating unresolved issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records through comprehensive documentation and tracking of incidents, service requests, changes, and solutions.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

 

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £16,000 – £18,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
  • 20 days + bank holidays
  • Access to pension scheme
  • £40 lunch budget
  • Collaborative supportive work environment

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Grade 4 in Maths and 5 in English is essential for this role
  • Can do attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and use initiative
  • Age 18-20 is desired
  • Genuine interest in IT.

Your Training with Baltic:

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
