Baltic Apprenticeships are recruiting on behalf of our client in Wakefield who are on the lookout for a Junior Data Analyst to join their growing team. Offering a salary ranging between £13,500-£15,000 salary, company social events in the summer and Christmas, a casual dress code and much more! This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career as a Junior Data Analyst.

As an apprentice you will be fully immersed in the exciting world of Data Analysis, you will be tasked with collecting and collating data from various sources, creating energy reports for customers and producing insights, cleansing and formatting data and much more. Throughout your journey you will be working closely with the Operations Manager and the wider Data Team, as well as the inhouse support you will also work alongside a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships to provide you will industry expert knowledge throughout your journey.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data Essentials delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Collecting and collating data from various sources such as PDF certificates and energy bills
• Creating energy reports for customers and producing insights into energy ratings and usage for customers
• Cleansing and formatting data to create data sets
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to successfully understand data specifications and produce reports based on those
• You will learn how to error check, how to cleanse data and monitor inaccuracies
• Format the data in Excel appropriately into various report types

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £12,480-£15,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm including a 1 hour break
• 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
• Social events, including summer get togethers and Christmas parties
• Casual dress code

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• An analytical mindset
• A background in Maths or Science would be beneficial
• A hard worker who is keen to progress
• An approachable and friendly individual
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English
