Looking to kick-start your career in marketing?
At Index, we’re on a mission to “do it better”. We’re a fast-growing group of specialist recruitment businesses, operating across an international network of brands and offices. We’re ambitious, performance-driven and passionate about helping our people reach their full potential.
We’re now looking for a creative and eager-to-learn Marketing Apprentice to join our team. You don’t need to have years of marketing experience – we’re looking for someone with curiosity, fresh ideas and the enthusiasm to get stuck in, learn new skills and make an impact.
You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative marketing team, where you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues, contribute to exciting projects and develop your skills through real-world experience. At Index, development is a big part of our culture, with a strong focus on mentorship, learning and giving people the opportunity to progress.
Alongside your hands-on experience at Index, you’ll receive structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships, attending two-day training blocks every 4–6 weeks. This will give you the chance to build your marketing knowledge and gain a recognised qualification while putting what you learn into practice in your day-to-day role.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Creating, editing and managing content across multiple channels, including social media posts, short-form and long-form video, photography, graphics and written copy.
- Planning, scheduling and publishing social media content, ensuring activity is consistent across different brands and aligned with wider campaign objectives.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of wider marketing campaigns, including lead generation, email campaigns, website content, promotional activity and new business launches.
- Monitoring campaign performance using Google Analytics, social media insights, Sourcewell and Smartlead, reviewing engagement and ROI to help identify what is performing effectively and where activity should be adjusted.
- Working with the wider marketing team and brand leaders on client projects, attending campaign meetings, supporting content and campaign planning, and gradually taking greater ownership of client communication and meetings.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Creative and proactive.
- Interested in marketing and social media.
- Eager to learn and develop.
- Strong work ethic.
- Looking for a long-term career opportunity.
- A Grade 5 in GCSE Maths & a Grade 4 in GCSE English.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £15,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Clear progression opportunities
This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in digital marketing. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective digital marketer.
With our expert online training and one-to-one support, you’ll channel your creativity and learn to create, implement, and analyse successful campaigns as part of a professional marketing team.
To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter explaining your interest in the role and what you hope to gain from an apprenticeship with Index. If your application is then successful, one of our recruitment consultants will be in touch to discuss your application further.
