Alongside their day-to-day role, they will complete their apprenticeship training with Baltic Apprenticeships. This will include dedicated 2-day training blocks every 4–6 weeks, giving them structured time away from their usual duties to focus on developing their data analysis knowledge and skills. They will gain valuable industry-recognised learning while applying what they study directly into their role, helping them grow into a confident and capable Data Analyst.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships 

A Typical Day in the Job:  

  • Monitoring demand against forecasted predictions, identifying any daily trends or anomalies.
  • React to any changes in predictions, taking appropriate action to minimise any impact on required service levels. 
  • Implement volume contingency action plan when deemed necessary.
  • Complete analysis on previous 24 hour performance, identifying any reasons for forecast variance, recommending any changes to enhance forecast accuracy and effectiveness going forward.
  • Maintain and manage Service Desk Engineers schedules for immediate 2 week period, ensuring resources meet operational requirements.
  • Maintain the inContact WFI (workforce intelligence) rules, ensuring they system it utilised effectively to maintain SLA’s within the Service Desk.
  • Maintain daily log of issues, advice given and actions taken.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

  • Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4 in GCSE English.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in data. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
