If you’re ready to get hands-on, grow fast and work with talented professionals, Peacock Group wants you to join their team as a Level 3 IT Support Apprentice.

As an IT Level 3 Apprentice you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for working on IT related tickets, resolving issues on the phone, email and on-site, software support, hardware support, network support and more to enhance your skills and reach your true potential!

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. 

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Support the ticketing system to work on and resolve helpdesk tickets & service requests for both onsite and remote staff.
  • Carry out initial incident diagnostics (via in person, phone or email), resolve issues where possible or escalate to other areas of the IT department to resolve if necessary.
  • Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Training of IT systems to staff at Head Office and other locations throughout the UK.
  • Perform scheduled appointments and tasks as directed by the IT Support Engineers.
  • Setting up new hardware devices for users e.g., PCs, monitors, printers.
  • Set up and configuration of smartphone mobile devices to the business, ensuring users have access to email on their device, office apps and use the mobile as a wi-fi hotspot.
  • Active directory (On-Prem/Cloud) administration: create new user accounts, amend permissions, reset network and application passwords.
  • Follow all our security procedures and assist in identifying security issues.
  • Basic computer networking.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellence communicator with confidence in your abilities.
  • Logical with attention to detail.
  • Basic Cyber, Cloud or PC architecture awareness would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and progress issues through to satisfactory conclusion and recognise when to escalate to another member of staff.
  • Positive proactive approach to work and learning
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Grade 4/C in Maths / Grade 5/C in English GCSE

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary – £15,600
  • Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM
  • 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
  • Life insurance x1 of salary
  • Access to on-site gym (£10 membership deduction from pay per month)

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
