They're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join them as a 1st Line IT Support Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to kickstart a career in IT. You’ll be working as part of their friendly helpdesk team, learning how to solve real-world problems and deliver excellent support to our clients.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Provide high-quality technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues such as password resets, connectivity problems, and hardware/software support
- Log and track incidents and requests using the service desk system
- Escalate more complex issues to the 2nd Line Support team where necessary
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers to build trust and rapport
- Keep users informed on progress and ensure timely resolution
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £16,000 per annum
- 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 9am–6pm)

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- A confident communicator who enjoys helping others
- Friendly, professional, and a great team player
- Reliable and able to manage your time effectively
- A genuine interest in starting a long-term career in IT support
- GCSE Grade 5/C in English and grade 4/C in Maths is required for this role
Your Training with Baltic:
You will be enrolled in a Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT Support, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You’ll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.
