You will be an essential part of the team responsible for providing 1st line IT support helping with a range of issues and tasks such as password resets, the configuration of hardware and everything in-between to turn you into an IT Support wizard!

In this role, you’ll work towards your level 3 IT Support qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Provide technical support and problem resolution to IT customers by web portal, phone and in person
- Complete a variety of IT operational duties in accordance with the procedure: systems operation and maintenance, security and compliance actions, responding to systems health monitoring warnings and alerts, incident management and reporting, system configuration and change projects, software, and hardware deployments
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues and stakeholders. Provide progress updates.
- Keep IT records accurate and up to date. Manage and track assets. Ensure new and updated procedures are documented.
- Solve problems using research, root cause analysis and diagnostic tools
- Attend regular team meetings.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £15,600 per annum
- Working Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5 PM

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Hardworking and good work ethic
- Passionate about IT
- IT qualification desirable
- Confident at communicating
- Personable and friendly
- Knowledge and experience of computer operating systems and applications – Linux and Windows
- A grade 4/C at GCSE in Maths and English is required for this role.
Your Training with Baltic:
This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
