In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Assist with password resets, & administration of Microsoft 365.
  • Conduct Configurations like MFA set up, anti-virus, user access control as part of 1st Line support.
  • Use technical specifications and potentially network diagrams or vendor documents to understand and resolve issues.
  • Supporting customer via the Helpdesk.
  • Support with clients SLA's by ensuring all customer issues are logged, prioritised and either resolved or escalate promptly.
  • Using tools such as Command Prompt, PowerShell, Wireshark and Solar Winds for troubleshooting.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £18,000-£20,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift, day shift and night shift.
  • You will work 40 hours per week with weekend support every 6 weeks on a rota basis.

  • Customer service skills with a customer first attitude.
  • Resilient, with strong prioritisation skill and ability to multi-task.
  • A positive attitude and team player.
  • Reliable, dependable and motivated.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change in the workplace.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
