Proman is currently seeking a passionate IT Support Technical Apprentice to join its dynamic team and contribute to the continued development of its IT infrastructure. About the Role
This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to launch a career in IT. As an IT Support Technical Apprentice, the successful candidate will play a key role in Proman’s technology operations. Responsibilities will include assisting with the maintenance of IT infrastructure, delivering technical support, and helping to ensure data security and privacy. The apprentice will be instrumental in supporting Proman’s strategic initiatives and maintaining efficient and secure IT systems.
In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Respond to user queries and issues via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software
- Monitor system performance and report any issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems.
- Provide support for software updates and patches
- Test and troubleshoot software applications
- Assist in monitoring and responding to security incidents
- Conduct regular audits of data security practices.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Understanding of basic IT concepts and terminology.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualifications and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support apprentice.
