As an Apprentice on their Service Management Team, you'll work closely with their seasoned professionals to support both internal and external customers, ensuring the smooth operation of their systems.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Gain hands-on experience in IT service management.
  • Learn and contribute to the management of the organisation's IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and optimise system performance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of IT best practices and methodologies.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £18,000 per annum
  • Working a 9-day fortnight
  • 25 days annual leave

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interest in information technology and a desire to pursue a career in the IT industry.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
  • A driving licence is desired due to visiting client sites.
  • Grade 4 in Maths and a grade 5 in English at GCSE is required for this role.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification, and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
