We are looking for a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our central team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification in digital marketing.
You'll support the delivery of engaging digital content across our websites, social media channels and marketing campaigns, helping to promote the achievements, events and opportunities across our family of schools. A Typical Day in the Job:
- Production of high-quality marketing and promotional materials for the school (including local advertising and the press).
- Facilitate the promotion of admissions mailings, open evenings, celebration evenings, events and assist with the organising in conjunction with the Administration Team and Student Support Assistants.
- Develop and maintain the content of the school’s electronic communications e.g. digital displays, web site and MLE.
- With the Leadership Team, produce PR based media relations relating to the promotion of the school including proactive message placement through press releases, the use of social media (Facebook/Twitter etc) and establishing positive relationships with representatives from local media channels to enhance the reputation and profile of the school.
- Promote the use of the school buildings and facilities through promotion, publicity and marketing materials, including the school website
- Under the direction of the Admin Team Supervisor, provide a high-quality administrative service to all students, staff and visitors to the school
- Welcoming all visitors to the school ensuring signing in procedures are followed, undertaking appropriate safeguarding checks and issuing relevant identification
- Answering the main school telephone line promptly, dealing with telephone enquiries, taking accurate messages and passing them on promptly by the most appropriate method.
- Manage and further develop the school’s alumni network (including website and email communications) and their support of and involvement in key aspects of school life. Maximise the information sharing and engagement with the school.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic team.
Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Experience with WordPress would be advantageous
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Grade 4/C in English & 5/C in Maths
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £23,133 per annum
- Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday), 8:00am – 3:30pm (Friday)
- Contract: 41 weeks per year, comprising:
- 38 weeks term time
- 5 INSET days
- 10 additional days, worked during school holidays to support agreed Trust and school events
- Term time only meaning 12 weeks of holidays throughout the year

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective digital marketer.
With our expert online training and one-to-one support, you’ll channel your creativity and learn to create, implement, and analyse successful campaigns as part of a professional marketing team.
