Are you passionate about technology and ready to turn your interest into a rewarding career? At Auxilion, we’re looking for a motivated and curious individual to join our team as an IT Support Apprentice.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional IT environment while working towards a recognised qualification. As part of our supportive and knowledgeable team, you’ll learn how to troubleshoot technical issues, support end users, and help keep critical systems running smoothly.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Managing and prioritising tickets in ServiceNow, resolving user issues remotely and escalating complex cases to Level 2 when required
  • Troubleshooting technical issues using ScreenConnect, Active Directory, and internal account systems, including password resets, MFA, and permissions management
  • Installing and configuring laptops, printers, MacBooks, Windows operating systems, and software packages
  • Supporting cloud-based systems such as SharePoint and backups, while assisting with network setup and resolving connectivity issues
  • Maintaining security access points and contributing to automation tasks by amending batch scripts and using PowerShell

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £16,000 – £20,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:30pm) and 2:30pm – 11pm rotating every week
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (increasing with length of service)

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Grade 4/C in Maths and 5/C in English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential).
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Organised and able to manage workload effectively.
  • Professional attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Passion for IT

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualifications and experience you need to immerse yourself in an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support apprentice.
