Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for digital media and a flair for engaging content? Bury Grammar School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Content Creator Apprentice to join our dynamic communications and marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working in a prestigious and forward-thinking educational environment.
As our new apprentice, you’ll play a key role in capturing the vibrant life of our school — from filming school events to creating engaging social media content, photography, blogs, and more. This role is perfect for someone looking to kick-start their career in content creation, digital marketing, or media production.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Capture daily photos and videos of classroom life, school events, and key moments.
- Use editing tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva) to create polished visual content.
- Produce bespoke videos that showcase the school’s culture and values.
- Support content creation for social media, newsletters, flyers, and the website.
- Assist with designing and ordering marketing materials and school merchandise.
- Help plan and promote selected events with the Admissions and Marketing teams.
- Liaise with staff and suppliers to gather content and manage production timelines.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £18,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 08:30am – 4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch
- 22 days holiday entitlement, rising to 27 days after 5 years service

- Grade 5 in Maths and 4 in English is essential for this role
