We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join a team of experts as a Level 3 IT Support Apprentice. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of IT Operations and Support to contribute to the development and delivery of IT strategic planning.

You will provide first-line helpdesk and in-person support to pupils and staff for IT systems, equipment, and applications on a day-to-day basis and are responsible for basic IT maintenance, health and safety, and security.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Support the Head of IT Operations and Support in the development and delivery of IT Strategic planning.
  • Maintain asset register of all IT-supported hardware
  • Report and act on all IT security breaches
  • Ensure all support requests are resolved or escalated within agreed SLAs
  • Provide 1st line support for all support hardware, software and applications
  • To be responsible for the storage and security of IT materials and consumables, their ordering and purchase in accordance with the financial procedures of the Trust and for ensuring that adequate supplies are maintained

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM
  • £21,912.44 Per annum
  • 45-minute lunch break
  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • GCSE Grade 5 in English and 4 in Maths
