This is an amazing opportunity to join a multi-award-winning technology organisation as a Level 3 IT Support Apprentice, you will immerse yourself in an environment that fosters growth and innovation.
Proximity offers software and services in a number of diverse sectors including, manufacturing, retail, logistics and financial services.
In this role, you will respond to technical support requests, troubleshoot and resolve issues, manage user accounts, including handling password resets and account lockouts. You will also be responsible for system monitoring and maintenance, infrastructure and device configuration, as well as documentation and reporting. Additionally, you will provide user training and support to ensure customers can effectively use our products and services.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Respond to Technical Support Requests
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
- User Account Management – Handle requests for password resets and account lockouts
- System Monitoring and Maintenance
- Infrastructure and device configuration
- Documentation and Reporting
- User Training and Support
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hybrid working role – 3 days in office, 2 at home
- £15,000 – £20,000 Depending on experience
- 25 Days annual leave + bank holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of IT systems, software, and infrastructure.
- A keen interest in expanding technical knowledge of other areas such as networking firewalls or security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear instructions to non-technical users.
- User-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality support
- GCSE Grade 5 in English, 4 in Maths
