As a Software Developer Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for writing logical code, fixing bugs, involved with the full development life-cycle, test code and so much more to enhance your skills and reach your true potential!

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Software Developer qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Utilise Microsoft technologies and code regularly using .NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL databases.
  • Be involved with pipeline deployments and conduct unit testing regularly.
  • Engage in integration testing using established build processes.
  • Use Microsoft DevOps for sprint planning and deployment.
  • Adopt Agile methodologies over Waterfall.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings and regular refinement sessions. Regularly collaborate with Managers, External customers, and internal colleagues to set up stories, tasks, and conduct kick-off meetings.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £22,000 per annum
  • Working Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Passion for software development
  • Can demonstrate work and projects
  • Aptitude for learning and development
  • Grade 6/C in Math's & 4/C in English GCSE is required for this role.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective Software Developer.
