AI Automation Practitioner Apprenticeship

A Typical Day in The Job:

•  Developing AI agents to address client business requirements and needs, translating identified challenges into practical agent-based solutions that support business processes and outcomes.
• Managing and maintaining Model Context Protocol (MCP) components and related integrations, helping ensure that the relevant tools and systems can work together to support the required functionality.
• Developing training content to help clients and other stakeholders understand how to use AI agents, automation tools and associated processes effectively.
• Developing and testing effective prompt methodologies, refining prompts through experimentation and evaluation to improve the consistency, relevance and usefulness of AI outputs.
• Providing managed services for clients using AI agents and automations, including supporting their ongoing use, identifying issues and helping maintain solutions after implementation.
• Identifying and automating repeatable processes both internally and for external stakeholders, with the aim of reducing manual effort, improving consistency and creating more efficient ways of working

• Be proactive and self sufficient.
• Grade 4/C or above in GCSE Maths and English is required for this programme.

Salary, Hours and Benefits:

• £18,000 to £20,000 per annum.
• Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
• Fully Remote – However face to face bi-monthly meets are required within Newcastle.
• 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.
• Company pension scheme.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

You will receive structured training, one-to-one support and regular coaching from Baltic Apprenticeships throughout your learning journey.

In this role, you will be working towards the AI for Business automation Level 4 apprenticeship programme. This apprenticeship equips you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become a trusted AI & Digital Champion within your organisation. You’ll develop expertise in analysing business processes, interpreting data, and using digital tools and AI technologies to drive improvement and innovation.

With a mix of online learning, real-time classes, and one-to-one support, you’ll gain hands-on experience in projects that enhance efficiency, implement digital solutions, and improve decision-making. This programme will help you understand how to collect requirements, communicate insights, and lead change initiatives, preparing you for a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of your business.
