Baltic Apprenticeships are delighted to be working in partnership with WAA Group to offer an exciting opportunity for an AI Automation Practitioner Apprentice to join their innovative team. This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop practical experience in AI, automation and emerging technology, helping WAA identify ways to improve business processes and create smarter, more efficient ways of working.

You’ll gain hands-on experience designing and testing workflow automations, working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, developing and refining prompts, and exploring creative AI solutions across voice, image and video. You’ll also support the development of AI-powered prototypes, document processes and help colleagues make effective use of new AI technologies. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic Apprenticeships team, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career at the forefront of AI and automation.

In this role, you’ll work towards your AI for business automation apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

 A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Google Ads & Performance Max:
    • Set up, manage, and optimise campaigns for clients.
    • Prepare performance reports and extract insights.
    • Ensure campaigns stay within budget parameters.
  • Paid Social Media:
    • Build and manage paid campaigns across LinkedIn and Meta.
    • Develop audiences and manage tracking, optimisation, and measurement.
  • CRM and Email Marketing:
    • Develop HTML email templates for CRM platforms.
    • Assist with setting up and scheduling multi-channel client communications across email, SMS, and direct mail.
  • AI Tools & Development:
    • Support the team in exploring and building AI tools for internal use and for clients.
    • Experiment with prompt engineering and AI-based solutions.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Gather and analyse performance data from various platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, social ad platforms, third-party tools etc.).
    • Contribute to campaign evaluation and improvements using data-driven insights.
  • Technical Support:
    • Assist with campaign troubleshooting.
    • Implement tracking solutions for digital marketing activities

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £18,000 – £19,500 per annum
  • Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interest in digital marketing and technology.
  • Logical and analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, data, and technical tasks.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn, with a ‘never stop learning’ attitude.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Grade 4/C in Maths GCSE and 4/C in English GCSE is required for this programme

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

In this role, you will be working towards the Business Analyst Level 4 apprenticeship programme. This apprenticeship equips you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become a trusted AI & Digital Champion within your organisation. You’ll develop expertise in analysing business processes, interpreting data, and using digital tools and AI technologies to drive improvement and innovation.

With a mix of online learning, real-time classes, and one-to-one support, you’ll gain hands-on experience in projects that enhance efficiency, implement digital solutions, and improve decision-making. This programme will help you understand how to collect requirements, communicate insights, and lead change initiatives, preparing you for a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of your business..
