They are looking for a Data Apprentice who is genuinely curious about data and eager to learn how insights can shape business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn, excellent communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with different teams across the business.
The successful apprentice will join a supportive and inclusive team who are passionate about helping each other succeed. From day one, they will be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and develop their skills in a collaborative environment where their contribution is valued. Alongside hands-on experience within the business, the apprentice will receive structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships, attending dedicated 2-day training blocks every 4–6 weeks. This combination of practical experience and expert-led learning will provide the opportunity to build valuable technical and professional skills while working towards a recognised qualification.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Customer interaction (in person & on Teams with internal/external stakeholders) for cross functional work/projects, as well as acquiring some level of brand knowledge.
- Support production of order book, sales and stock reports using Excel and SAP.
- Tracking sales/budgets to highlight any risks/challenges.
- Assist in tracking customer orders and updating order progress data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Clean, check and validate data from SAP, EDI and internal systems to ensure accuracy.
- Reviewing/processing customer intake plans, in line with each customer requirements.
- Use Excel tools (filters, pivot tables, basic formulas) to analyse order trends, returns and stock levels.
- Investigating customer queries, such as delivery discrepancies/shortages, pricing & discounts.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and learning.
- Eager to develop new skills and gain industry knowledge.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4 in GCSE English.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £23,000-£26,000 per annum.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in data. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
