They are seeking a curious, hands-on Data Analyst Apprentice to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in data and technology while learning a wide range of technical skills on the job.

As an apprentice at Zynk, you’ll be involved in all aspects of IT operations—from analysing and transforming customer data to testing software workflows, updating documentation, supporting internal systems, and writing Python scripts. You'll work across their product stack (Zynk Cloud, Zynk Workflow), helping deliver reliable, high-quality solutions for their customers.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data; producing meaningful reports and dashboards; identifying trends, anomalies, or errors in datasets and providing insights.
  • Scripting & Automation: Writing and editing Python scripts to process and move data between systems; building reusable data workflows in the Zynk platform; supporting the integration of APIs and third-party services.
  • QA, Testing & Documentation: Testing and validating data workflows; writing and executing test cases; documenting bugs; maintaining and updating product documentation.
  • IT Support & Systems Admin: Assisting with internal IT tasks such as file management, user onboarding, and system troubleshooting.
  • Project & Customer Support: Supporting consultants and developers in delivering customer projects; communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits

  • £16,000-£18,000 per annum depending on age and experience
  • Working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Training & Development

This is a formal apprenticeship programme (typically 15–18 months), which includes:

  • Industry-recognised training with an external learning provider.
  • A dedicated mentor within the Zynk team.
  • Study time built into your work schedule.
  • Hands-on experience with real-world customer projects and platforms.

Essential Attributes:

  • A genuine interest in technology, data, and problem-solving.
  • Proactive and organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator with a willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote-first team.

Nice to Have (but not essential):

  • Some experience with Python, Excel, or SQL.
  • An interest in APIs, automation tools, or ecommerce/accounting platforms.
  • Awareness of data privacy and handling concepts.
  • Grade 4/C at GCSE in English and Maths is required for this role
