In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Software Development, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Bug fixing
• Functional testing
• Deploying code
• Coding in Python
• Communicating using systems such as Jira, Discord and email
• Testing other developers code
• Supporting customers and attending face-to-face meetings

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £17,000 – £19,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
• 20 days holidays rising to 25 days after 2 years service, bank holidays also off
• Team building events

• 4% employer pension contributions rising to 5% on 2 year anniversary
• Hybrid working (2 days at home – Monday and Friday)
• Office is in a great lakeside location, close to shops, restaurants, gyms and leisure centres,

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• Grade 6 in Maths and 4 in English is essential for this role
• A-Level/GCSE Computer Science
• Passion for software
• Knowledge/understanding of Python
• Get up and go attitude
