In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Software Development, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Bug fixing
- Functional testing
- Deploying code
- Coding in Python
- Communicating using systems such as Jira, Discord and email
- Testing other developers code
- Supporting customers and attending face-to-face meetings
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £17,000 – £19,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
- 20 days holidays rising to 25 days after 2 years service, bank holidays also off
- Team building events
- Casual dress for in-office days
- 4% employer pension contributions rising to 5% on 2 year anniversary
- Hybrid working (2 days at home – Monday and Friday)
- Office is in a great lakeside location, close to shops, restaurants, gyms and leisure centres,
- Free parking
- Flat management structure and privately held
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Grade 6 in Maths and 4 in English is essential for this role
- A-Level/GCSE Computer Science
- Passion for software
- Knowledge/understanding of Python
- Get up and go attitude
