This intensive one-day Power BI workshop explores Power BI capabilities through interactive live training and hands-on activities. Delivered by our expert Microsoft trainers, participants will learn how to analyse and visualise datasets, developing essential data skills that can be immediately applied in their role.
The course provides comprehensive coverage of Power BI fundamentals, from data connection and transformation through to advanced visualisation techniques and report sharing. Participants will build their first data model, explore DAX functionality, and create professional dashboards while learning to publish and collaborate effectively using Power BI services.
Learning Outcomes
Gain practical experience in connecting to multiple data sources, importing datasets, and applying data transformation techniques using Power Query. Learn how to cleanse, merge, and shape data to prepare it for analysis.
Apply business logic by creating calculated columns and measures using DAX. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and business rules to ensure data models support effective decision-making.
