This policy sets out how applications, candidate and employee data is processed by us. This policy applies to candidates and employees of Baltic Apprenticeships.
GDPR
You have a right to ask us for a copy of your personal data that we hold about you. A request to exercise this right is called a “subject access request” and must be made in writing.

Safeguarding
Safeguarding is essential in assuring the development and well-being of young people and adults alike. Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of young adults to protect them from harm. The potential harm that can affect learners is wide-ranging and includes things such as; bullying, inappropriate supervision and unsafe workplaces or working practices.
Safeguarding is at the heart of Baltic Apprenticeships daily operations – from the appointment of staff, ensuring safe working environments and that we provide learners with the information and advice on how they can keep themselves safe, to carefully selecting the employers we work with.
We have a number of specially appointed staff to lead on Safeguarding matters who are available to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your safety or welfare whilst training with Baltic Apprenticeships.
Preventing Extremism and Radicalisation
Baltic Apprenticeships have a statutory duty, known as Prevent, to Safeguarding Learners from radicalisation and extremism which can lead to acts of terrorism.

Baltic Apprenticeships is committed to growing and diversifying the range of courses it delivers to widen participation, deliver to niche markets, engage in new and emerging markets and meet the regional and local economic development agenda. In order to achieve this, Baltic has taken the strategic decision to subcontract part of its provision to partner organisations who can demonstrate high-quality delivery.
