The technical training courses cover all the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by the Apprenticeship Standard. Our training is delivered by subject specialists via our SMART Classroom learning environment.

Course 1: Principles of Coding

Understanding how the web works is the key to executing effective digital marketing activity. This introductory course covers the fundamentals of search engine operations, mobile friendly and responsive design, and the use of common web languages.

Course 2: Principles of Online and Offline Marketing (Part 1)

This course equips apprentices with an understanding of marketing theory and best practice for creating successful digital campaigns. In part one, learners will focus on the core principles of offline and online marketing, including the customer lifecycle and different marketing channels.

Course 3: Principles of Online and Offline Marketing (Part 2)

After establishing a solid foundation in the core principles of marketing, apprentice digital marketers will take a deeper dive into online marketing, including the components of a marketing campaign, customer relationship marketing, and the legal, regulatory, and ethical frameworks of marketing.

Course 4: Google Analytics

This course provides our apprentices with the knowledge and practical skills they will need to extract actionable insights from Google Analytics, one of the most powerful and widely used tools within the industry.

Alongside our formal technical training courses, Baltic apprentices are supported to implement their knowledge, skills, and behaviours within their job role. Through a mix of workplace projects and competency workshops, apprentices will learn to put their skills into practice and create measurable impact within your team.

Workplace Projects

Apprentices will complete a range of digital marketing projects throughout their apprenticeship, aligned to their job role and your business needs. These projects will include creating, implementing and analysing multi-channel marketing campaigns.

Competency Workshops

Our specialist Technical Skills Coaches will support and prepare learners for the workplace projects through competency workshops. These training days enable apprentices to apply knowledge to current projects and their working environment.

Learning Mentor Support

Throughout a Baltic Apprenticeship, our apprentices are supported by a dedicated Learning Mentor. Our Learning Mentors conduct regular one-to-one review sessions throughout the programme, providing targeted personal support to set learners up for success.

End Point Assessment (EPA)

The End Point Assessment is the final stage of the apprenticeship programme and is conducted by an independent assessor. The EPA includes a portfolio, business-related project, employer reference and an interview.
