WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO UPSKILL CLARE THROUGH AN APPRENTICESHIP?
We wanted to give Clare the opportunity to develop her data analyst skills further and to provide her with the chance to gain an industry-wide recognised and accredited qualification.
We wanted to put Clare through a course that would enable her to build on the fundamental data analysis skills she has learned so far and explore advanced methods/techniques/skills to provide her with a greater depth of understanding in her current role.
The apprenticeship will equip Clare with all the necessary skills to help her deliver results in her role, within a fast-paced and demanding environment, and will also present her with a platform to further progress her career.
HOW DID OUR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PREPARE CLARE FOR THE WORKPLACE?
Within a short space of time, I can see that the apprenticeship has had a profound impact on Clare and it was 100% the correct decision to enrol her on the course.
She has gained a greater understanding of data models, and how to structure data and has been introduced to SQL, which have all contributed towards helping things fall into place more for her.
She is also now able to have more in-depth and complex discussions with other members of the team and crucially she has applied what she has learnt on the course into her own work, which is amazing!
ANY FURTHER COMMENTS
Every time Clare has a few days of apprenticeship training, when she returns she is always glowing in terms of the feedback she gives in terms of what she has learned.
Clare is learning a lot from the apprenticeship and she is applying this to her own work; this coupled with the fact Clare is enjoying it, is impressed with how the course is being delivered and feels as though she is taking a lot from it means as an employer I could not be happier with how the course is going.
Baltic Apprenticeships deliver a fantastic course; we have been so impressed we are now considering enrolling other officers through the apprenticeship.
Furthermore we are also exploring the possibility of enrolling more junior members of the team onto the Level 3 course, to help build those fundamental core skills of a data analyst.
