Baltic Apprenticeships, a leading provider of tech and digital apprenticeship programmes, has announced a strategic educational partnership with The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), a global vendor-neutral IT certification provider. This collaboration marks a major step forward in Baltic’s mission to tackle the tech industry’s skills gap by equipping apprentices with sought-after skills.

Through this partnership, Baltic Apprenticeships aims to ensure that their learners receive the highest quality training and are equipped with prestigious certifications that are recognised in their fields.

Brooke Urwin, Chief Operating Officer at Baltic Apprenticeships, said:

“We are incredibly proud to be partnering with CompTIA to further strengthen and innovate our curriculum.

By integrating these prestigious certifications into our Level 4 Data Analyst and Network Engineer programmes, we aim to empower our apprentices with not only technical expertise through our robust training but also with industry-recognised qualifications to set them up for successful, long-term careers in the tech sector.

“Baltic’s relationship with CompTIA has always been strong, built on mutual dedication to delivering high-quality education. Our Apprenticeship Coaches complete CompTIA certifications as part of their professional development, so it was a natural next step to leverage their expertise and extend this offering to our apprentices.”

CompTIA+ certifications are renowned worldwide for their industry relevance, enabling apprentices to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the tech sector. Baltic’s revamped Level 4 Network Engineer programme will feature the CompTIA Network+ certification, while the Level 4 Data Analyst programme will incorporate the CompTIA Data+ certification.

Effective immediately, apprentices enrolling on these programmes will undergo two days of technical training with a CompTIA-certified Baltic Coach before sitting the relevant exam, the cost of the exam will be funded by Baltic Apprenticeships.

Jason Moss, Senior Vice President of CompTIA, said:

“CompTIA is thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with Baltic Apprenticeships, a collaboration that marks a significant milestone in our mission to empower the next generation of IT professionals.

“This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to providing cutting-edge education and certification opportunities that are directly aligned with the evolving needs of the industry. Together, we are dedicated to opening new pathways for talent development and ensuring that individuals have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the dynamic world of technology.

“We look forward to working closely with Baltic Apprenticeships to inspire and enable countless individuals to achieve their career aspirations in IT.”
