Data Analyst Apprentice (Level 4)

In this role, you'll work towards your Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Support the development of data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, transformation, modelling, and analytical reporting.
  • Assist in developing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Support the creation and implementation of Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio agents to improve access to data, business knowledge, and automation.
  • Analyse business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements and translate these into effective technical solutions.
  • Contribute to testing, documentation, and user guidance to support the successful adoption of new data solutions.
  • Ensure all work adheres to data governance, security, and quality standards.
  • Continuously develop your technical, analytical, and professional skills throughout your apprenticeship.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English.
  • A genuine interest in data, analytics, and digital technologies.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft applications and an enthusiasm to learn modern data platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across different departments.
  • Ability to think logically and solve problems.
  • Organised with the ability to balance learning commitments alongside day-to-day responsibilities.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to continuously develop new technical skills.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • Salary: £24,700 per annum.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell additional holiday.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in data analytics. You'll gain valuable experience working with industry-leading technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, and AI-driven business solutions.

Afterwards, we'll support you to take the next steps, including further training, professional development, and progression within Aspire Defence Services Ltd.
